Paste to Tab and Go

2008/02/19

ExtensionPaste a string to tab and load it, like Paste and Go 2 extension. But unlike Paste and Go, this extension will paste a string from clipboard to a tab without switching to the tab first.

Paste to Tab and Go

This extension is relatively small, so I think it’ll be good if this be integrated into Paste and Go 2 or Tab Mix Plus extensions. No? Well, what do you think?

Take Back the Web with Stylish

2006/02/22

ExtensionStylish is an extension for Firefox/Flock and Thunderbird by Jason Barnabe (np) that lets you manage CSS rules to change the appearance of web sites. It can even change the appearance of the application (Firefox/Flock/Thunderbird) itself.

Stylish is to CSS what Greasemonkey is to JavaScript. Stylish allows you to easily manage user styles for the application UI, all websites, or only certain websites. Stylish is better than using userChrome.css/userContent.css because styles are applied immediately instead of requiring a restart.

I’ve been using Stylish since its first released. Previously, I used Custom User Style Editor — a module in Shimoda Hiroshi‘s Context Menu Extensions — and Cskinner — a Greasemonkey script by Matt Labrum — to change the appearance of web sites.

Stylish is also best for blocking hiding ads on the web sites. It works better than Greasemonkey or RIP, because Stylish hides ads even before the page is fully loaded. After using Stylish for about two months, I removed RIP permanently.

Greasemonkey 0.6.4

2005/12/02

GreasemonkeyGreaseblog, the official blog of the Greasemonkey extension for Firefox, announced that they have release Greasemonkey 0.6.4 for Firefox 1.5.

This version is for Firefox 1.5 only and will not install on previous Firefox. If you use a Firefox version prior to 1.5, you should continue using Greasemonkey 0.5.3.

Please note that you have to uninstall previous version of Greasemonkey before installing Greasemonkey 0.6.4 because the GUID has changed.
